Teacher - Full Time

Seeking to hire a Teacher for our 1-2 year old class. We have a wonderful work environment and small class sizes. Our 1-2 year old class has a maximum of 12 children and 3 teachers a majority of the day. We are looking for someone who:

- has flexibility to be available during the hours we are open, Monday-Friday from 7:00a-5:30p.

- has a strong work ethic, commitment and passion for working with children.

- is able to organize their personal life in such a way that it does not interfere with the established work schedule.

- has a positive and cheerful demeanor.

- can meet the physical demands of the job, such as being able to get up and down from the floor, place a 1-2 year old child onto the diaper changing station, etc.


Qualifications:

  • A signed agreement with our Statement of Faith.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Minimum 6 months experience working with children in a licensed facility or school required. Prefer experience working with toddlers.
  • Must provide a copy of a high school diploma, GED or be actively enrolled in a GED program.
  • A fingerprint clearance card is required.
  • A TB test  prior to starting work is required.
  • We must be able to verify past employment and call 2 references of character.
  • Have CPR and First Aid certification or take the class within 60 days of hire.
  • Complete 12 hours of health and safety training in the first 90 days of employment.



Program Manager- Full Time
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with the Owner in an administrative capacity and assist the Owner with managing the day-to-day operations of the facility. The position will be required to be flexible and available during the hours we are open, M-F, 7a-5:30p. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to move into an administrative/leadership career path.


Skills Required:

  • Administrative skills - be comfortable using a computer to edit documents and print information.
  • A minimum of 1 year classroom teaching experience required. While this is a management role, the position is required to be able to teach in a classroom as needed and be a resource and support for the teachers.
  • Must have a good knowledge of AZ state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be willing to do what is needed to help the program be successful.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and a passion and commitment for working with children.
  • Must be able to organize your personal life so that it does not interfere with the established work schedule.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to change as needed.
  • Must not have physical limitations and be physically capable of lifting a small child, getting up and down from the floor, moving small furniture items around, etc.


Qualifications:

  • A signed agreement with our Statement of Faith.
  • One of the following educational requirements:
    • A CDA or Associate Degree in ECE or a closely related field (psychology, social work or nursing) is preferred; OR
    • 3 credit hours or more in early childhood or child development from an accredited college or university; OR
    • 30 hours of verifiable workshop/training hours in early childhood education
  • Minimum 1 year experience in direct care of children/teaching in a licensed facility or school required.
  • Current fingerprint clearance card or the ability to get one prior to start date.
  • Previous experience in a leadership/management role desired but not required.
  • Must provide a copy of a high school diploma or GED and college transcripts.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to get certified within 60 days of hire.
  • Current negative TB test or the ability to get one prior to start date.
